Blog week six: (24-02-2014 till 02-03-2014).

Monday: I spent most of the day observing Mrs Minifie's classes and marking the literature test the students made in their literature book. I did a spelling test with 6E1 and checked/marked it straight after. Mrs Minifie told me that two Curro grade 10 girls disappeared Saturday after the inter house gala that Curro was hosting, they left after the gala but never returned to their homes. Rumour has it that the girls went to a party afterwards, but no one knows for sure what happened. I feel so bad for the parents, if something like that were to happen to Hugo I would go insane.
Yet I can't stop myself from wondering why the parents let those giro's go back and forth on their own especially since the school event only ended after 6 O'clock. By that time it's dark here, and the crime and rape stats here in SA are really high!
We are all hoping for their safe return, but I fear for the worst.

Tuesday: everyone starts with a cycle test on Human social science.
A lot of the students have questions about how the questions in the test are meant and what they are supposed to do with all of it.
Still no news on the two missing students yet.

Wednesday: I substituted for Michele Minifie the whole lesson day, since she had to organise/ host the high school swim Gala.

Thursday: Observed/ helped Mrs Minifie all day except for the last hour during which I had to substitute for Veronica Nillsen.

Friday : substituted for Mrs Minifie the whole day, 5 classes.

It was another really quiet and easy weekend because the weather was so bad that going outside wasn't really recommended . So except for playing with Hugo I didn't really do much.. Sounds boring, doesn't it?! We'll it sort of was!!
