It's family vacation time!! On Monday we left for our Kruger park stay. We slept there on Monday and Tuesday evening. The first night we stayed at the Skukuza Camp and the second night we stayed at the Lower Sabie Camp... We drove over 400 kilometres in the Kruger Park alone, looking for all the magnificent animals.
We were lucky enough to 4 of the big 5! We saw: Elephants, Buffels, Rhino and Lion <3 and that was just the Big Five Animals.. We also saw: Wilde Beast, Crocodile, Hippo, impala, Wild Dog, Giraffe, Zebra, baboons, koedoe, tarentaal, scorpion, chameleon and a lot of brightly coloured pretty birds!
It was such a magical experience!!!
We went out to diner while at Lower Sabie, the restaurant was situated on a wooden deck overlooking the lake in which a big population of Hippos were having a nice on swim! We even got a lovely visit from some fireflies, which made the night even more special!
Wednesday it was time to leave the Kruger Park which made me cry so hard that I thought my eyes were going to pop out!

Thursday till Monday we were in Richard's Bay to visit my uncle Lammert and his wife Toinete and their 3 boys. We had a couple of amazing days.
We went to the beach for a swim and for a snorkelling session, although for me the snorkelling was a nightmare!! I had a massive panic attack under water because of my fear of going under water and not being able to breathe!
We went to a Cat rehabilitation centre where we got to see some big African cats. One of them was a cheetah, and we actually got to cuddle and pet it! We also got to pet Servals. We had a lovely brain, and we ate a traditional South African dish called potjie kos. It's sort of like a stew! It had meat of an Impala in that my nephew shot himself, it was really special! It was so great to be able to spend some time with my family!!
